Privacy Policy

InScope is a web application that helps consulting firms create project scopes and sync them to Google Sheets. You can connect your own Google Sheets templates, define field mappings, then create scopes that copy the template and sync content back to Google Sheets.

Account information

When you sign in, we collect your name and email address via Google Sign-In.

Google data

We request access to Google Drive (to copy template spreadsheets) and Google Sheets (to read template structure and write scope content). We do not access, read, or modify any other files in your Drive or Sheets.

Scope content

Project scope descriptions, estimates, assumptions, and library items that you create within InScope.

Usage data

Basic logs for debugging and security purposes.

• To provide the InScope service, including creating, editing, and syncing scopes.
• To authenticate your identity via Google.
• Google Drive and Sheets access is used solely to copy templates and sync scope content. We do not access, read, or modify any other files in your Drive or Sheets.
• Scope content may be sent to Anthropic's API for AI-assisted scope generation. Only scope content and template structure are sent. Google tokens, personal information, and account data are never shared with Anthropic.

Data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. Google OAuth tokens are stored to maintain your session and access Google services on your behalf.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

InScope's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the email below.

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level database security, and secure token storage to protect your data.
